2130 The other two men's singles matches out on court are now finally over. Cilic has won a fourth-set tie-break to defeat France's Mathieu on Court 11 while Youzhny has come through his marathon with Stepanek.
2110 It's finally all over and Nadal has booked his place in the last 16 with a straight-sets triumph over the plucky Kiefer.
2106 You have to take your hats off to Kiefer who has dug deep to find some extra energy from somewhere to break the Nadal serve before holding is own. It's too little too late but at least it's some entertainment for the crowd.
2101 Kiefer celebrates winning a game on his own serve but he's just delaying the inevitable.
2058 Stunning tennis from Nadal as he follows up another break of Kiefer to race into a 5-0 lead and there's nothing the German can do.
2050 The Spaniard doesn't want this clash to take any longer than necessary as darkness begins to draw in at this late hour. Goodness knows how long the other two men's matches still in play will take to finish!
2044 Back on Centre, Nadal looks eager to speed his way into the last 16 and thanks to a double fault from Kiefer, the second seed now has the all-important break to lead 2-0 in the third set.
2040 It had all the makings of a five-set thriller and the clash between Youzhny and Stepanek will go the distance out on Court Two after the Czech did indeed win the tie-break.
2034 Stepanek is one pumped up competitor as he hammers a winner past Youzhny to take advantage in a fourth set tie-break. He needs this so badly to force a decider.
2031 A break to love for Nadal sees him go 2-0 up in sets and surely this match is now a foregone conclusion.
2030 As we expected, Cilic is now one set away from a place in the last 16 having wrapped up the third 6-4 against Mathieu to lead 2-1 on Court 11.
2025 Nadal is now heading towards a 2-0 set lead and is now well in control. He's now 5-2 up and has surely knocked the wind out of Kiefer's sails.
2015 Elsewhere Cilic is a break up on Mathieu in the third set and I would say the 14th seed from France is in big trouble. Cilic, just 19-years-old, has the momentum and now leads 4-2.
2010 It's an early break for Nadal in the second set and the world number two now leads 2-0 as he looks to take a stranglehold of this encounter.
2000 Stepanek agonisingly misses the chance to earn a crucial break in the fourth set against Youzhny when an unlucky deflection off the net takes his shot just wide, with his opponent beaten. The big-serving Russian then holds serve and it's now 2-2.
1957 Meanwhile Jamie Murray and Mirnyi have won their second-round match in the doubles after taking the third set against Cerretani and Hanescu 7-0 on a tie-break.
1955 Nadal has just a bit too much in his locker for Kiefer in the tie-break, racing away with it 7-3 and maybe now he'll kick himself into action because he won't want the next two sets to be this tight.
1952 Cilic has indeed won the second set 6-3 against the 14th seed from France and I can see this one going the distance - and the same could be said for the other two men's singles out on court at the moment.
1949 It continues to go with serve on Centre Court and we'll need a tie-break to decide the first set between Nadal and Kiefer.
1947 Meanwhile 17th seed Youzhny is now 2-1 up in sets against Stepanek having taken the third 6-4 while Cilic is in a strong position to square up his match with Mathieu on Court 11.
1940 Tough hold for Nadal against Kiefer to stay in the set and he's really making hard work of this encounter. He just doesn't have the same presence as Federer out on the grass courts and you get the impression his opponents always feel they can get the better of him. Kiefer is no different.
1933 Quotes in from Murray's next opponent Gasquet, who insists he's ready to play the pantomime villain role on Monday. He said: "I'm feeling great, I have no injuries and I'm ready to fight in another match. I like to play these kinds of matches. I don't care if I'm the villain."
1930 In the next game the German earns his first break point of the match but Nadal is equal to the challenge and casually plays a winning volley at the net before going on to square the set at 4-4.
1922 Kiefer lets out a scream as he saves a break point against Nadal and goes on to hold serve for a 4-3 lead. This is proving to be a tough match for the Spaniard.
1915 Out on Court 11 the Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu, seeded 14, has won the opeing set against the promising youngster Marin Cilic 7-5 on a tie-break.
1905 The Murray family could be celebrating another triumph tonight as Andy's brother Jamie, alongside doubles partner Max Mirnyi are two sets to the good against James Cerretani and Victor Hanescu in their second-round clash.
1855 It's been a solid start from Nadal against Kiefer but in these early stages it's still going with serve - nothing dramatic to report on as yet. Meanwhile Youzhny has been pegged back by Stepanek and they now enter a third set tied at 1-1.
1835 Some quotes from Jankovic now, who is evidently relieved to have defeated
17-year-old Wozniacki earlier today. "A lot of the big names have lost in the tournament and I was thinking maybe I'm the next one! I was surprised when Ivanovic and Sharapova went out. Usually, the top seeds, even though they're not playing so well, somehow get through the early rounds and then start playing better and better for the rest of the tournament."
1830 The final match on Centre Court today sees second seed Rafael Nadal up against another German, Nicolas Kiefer, who is seeded 27.
1825 Murray has defeated Haas, and about time too! He blew his first two match points while leading 40-15 as the German forced deuce but on the third attempt his opponent found the net to keep the British challenge at Wimbledon well and truly alive! The big question is whether he can go all the way. Up next for the Scottish sendation is Gasquet, who will provide the stiffest test by far. On the head-to-head record the Frenchman leads 2-0 although he hasn't had the best of seasons despite a good run here this week.
1820 This is more like it. Having held his own serve comfortably, the flying Scotsman then breaks Haas again thanks to an unstoppable double-backhand cross-court winner and he's now on the brink of victory. Finish it off now Andy!
1814 Murray breaks Haas to lead 3-2 and he's now surely edging towards the last 16. It was his third break point of the game and the German's double fault was the clincher.
1812 The thrilling epic on Court 11 is finally over and for me it's been the best match of the tournament so far - just a shame it ended on a double fault from Safina, who is quite clearly devastated as the tears roll down her face. So it's Peer who advances to round four and will be grateful for a much needed rest. The deciding set lasted 80 minutes and the total match time was three hours 23 minutes - awesome stuff all round. Both players had the guts, determination and character as well as producing moments of sheer class and quality.
1805 On Court Two 16th seed Radek Stepanek has dropped the first set to 17th seed Mikhail Youzhny, who takes it 7-5.
1803 After a titanic 13th game, which saw five deuces, Peer has now edged into a 7-6 lead in the third set over Safina, who now must serve to stay in the match - although that's what she's having difficulty with. I can't emphasise enough just how shattered she looks right now and I doubt she'll be able to turn it around from here, despite all her efforts.
1800 Meanwhile Murray's clash with Haas is going with serve at 1-1 in the fourth set and the Scottish star is looking pretty solid.
1755 Safina deserves a medal for her courageous efforts against Peer. The Russian can hardly jump while serving due to some leg injury and looks absolutely exhausted as she fights for every single point till the death.
1752 Murray clinches the second set 6-3 and now it's his chance to get the job done after a needlessly tough tussle.
1748 It's an absolute marathon on Court 11 where it's now 6-6 between Safina and Peer. Each rally is seemingly lasting forever with both players pinned back on their baseline waiting for each other to make mistakes. They're into their fourth hour out on court and who knows when it might end!
1742 Back on Centre Court where Murray leads 4-2 in this third set. He's upped his game slightly but it's hardly convincing and from what was looking like a routine win has turned into something much more complex.
1738 Safina has blown her chance at serving for the match against Peer and it's now 5-5 in the decider out on Court 11.
1736 Murray strikes again to break Haas and now leads 3-1. The overall standard of play has dropped and the Scot needs to rediscover the killer touch he produced in the opening set.
1731 Safina is now in control against Peer in the deciding set of their clash. The Russian is a break up and leads 5-3 having been on the brink of defeat in the previous set. During the last few breaks between games she's been given ice packs to rub on her legs and it's clearly having the desired effect.
1728 The British number one lets out a huge roar after winning any point. If he's like this now, goodness knows what he'll be like if he ever got to the final here. Then again this match is proving harder than we all expected and he digs deep to save two break points in a long game before eventually holding serve against the battling Haas.
1718 Murray is eager to get back on track and after winning the opening game of the third set on serve, he clenches his fist to gee himself up. Is his failure to close out the second set the evidence we need to suggest he's not ready to win Wimbledon? Let us know what you think by emailing me at christopher.hammer@bskyb.com and I'll publish the best ones.
1714 Gasquet has emerged from the battle of France on Court One as the winner, finally seeing off compatriot Simon 6-3 6-3 6-7 6-3. It was an entertaining clash with plenty of flair on display but the stronger player is through to the last 16.
1712 And it's Murray who fails to deal with the pressure and tightens up as Haas earns two set points and follows it up at the first opportunity. It was all going so well but the British star is back to square one.
1710 The Scot drills a couple of early winners past the helpless Haas to keep this breaker going with serve at 4-3 as the tension begins to grow.
1704 Murray produces some powerful first-serves to force a tie-break and the Centre Court crowd are now on the edge of their seats for the first time in the match.
1703 For the second round in succession Tipsarevic has won a match without dropping serve. He saved eight break points against Roddick and today he saved seven in his 7-6 7-6 6-3 victory over Tursunov. The bespectacled Serbian is a dangerous opponent and don't be surprised to see him match through to the semi-finals.
1700 Haas holds serve to love to lead 6-5 and once again the pressure is back on Murray. Meanwhile Clement has booked his place in the fourth round with a 4-6 6-3 6-4
6-4 win over Melzer.
1657 And she certainly isn't the only one. Murray now finds himself in the position of serving to stay in the second set and although he does so, it shouldn't have had to come down to that.
1654 In the women's singles Safina is now level at one set all with Peer having won the tie-break 7-4 and her Israeli opponent must now be kicking herself.
1653 Haas pushes Murray to the limits in game eight and breaks back when the Scot hits the net from the baseline. Credit to the German who came out of his shell to play at the net and put pressure on Murray for the first time in this encounter.
1649 Kudryavtseva's adventure at this year's Wimbledon continues. Having dumped Sharapova out in the previous round, she's now progressed to the last 16 after claiming a 6-3 1-6 6-4 triumph over Peng out on Court 14.
1647 Haas breezes through his next service game but I don't think Murray will be particularly bothered about that - he's well in control overall.
1644 Peer has twice failed to serve for the match having led 5-4 and 6-5 on Court 11 against the plucky Safina, who has now forced a second-set tie-break. The ninth seed from Russia never knows when she's beaten.
1642 Murray looks quite content just to get the job done on his own serve now he's in this commanding position. He's also displaying a wide variety of shots to win points and a drop shot, lob and ace in this game helps him move 4-2 up.
1640 On the other show court Simon has survived to fight another set after winning a tie-break in the third to prevent a Gasquet victory - the crowd are certainly enjoying this French duel now. Game on!
1635 Murray outplays Haas once more and deservedly breaks the German in the third game. This is exactly the kind of performance we were hoping for and he's dominating from all areas on the the court.
1632 Back on Centre Court and it's level pegging in the second set at 1-1. Spectators are amassed on Murray Mount and it's probably a better atmosphere there than it is inside court.
1627 Petrova has taken a second successive tie-break to defeat Azarenka in two sets, while Tipsarevic has achieved a similar feat on Court Two but obviously needs to win another set before seeing off Tursonov.
1624 A few signs of nerves from Murray as he falls 0-15 and 15-30 behind in this decisive game. However he picks up the initiative by attacking at the net to level before easily winning the next two points. His pumped up reaction shows just how much he's fired up for this one and he's now well on his way to the next round.
1620 Back on Centre and Murray is now serving for the first set against Haas at 5-4.
1618 On Court Two another tie-break is needed between Tipsarevic and Tursonov while Simon is pushing Gasquet hard in the third set of their clash, despite facing a mountain to climb.
1616 There's been far too many errors from the 30-year-old German and fortunately Murray is able to exploit them as he moves to within one game of taking the first set.
1612 Haas is finding it tough on his own serve against the tenacious Murray. The Scot earned another break point but despite doing a Barami-esq 360 return, Haas managed to force deuce before closing it out to hold.
1610 On Court 14, Peng has blown away Kudryavtseva in the second set, taking it 6-1 to force a decider. In the men's competition Clement is leading Melzer 2-1 in sets and the fourth is currently going with serve at 1-1.
1607 The next two games go with serve and the home favourite is hardly breaking sweat right now. If he continues like this on this lovely sunny day in SW19 then he's sure to progress to the last 16.
1602 Murray holds serve easily enough and seems comfortable out there at the moment. Encouraging signs for all the British fans watching from the stands and upon 'Murray Mount'. Or mound, whichever you prefer.
1558 First real blood goes to Murray, who punishes Haas with a breathtaking backhand winner down the line to break and surge into a 2-1 lead.
1555 The Scot fights back from 0-30 in the next to level matters and it's fair to say he's slowly working his way into this encounter. It would have been a real dampener to be broken so soon.
1553 Haas easily holds serve to win the opening game of the match against Murray, but lets not read too much into that!
1550 Gasquet is well in control against Simon having taken the second set to lead 2-0 so it's turning out to be a rather one-sided French affair on Court One.
1547 On Court 11 Peer edged the first set against Safina 7-5 and the young Russian, who was runner-up at the French Open, has just lost her serve again in the opening game of the next.
1544 The two players are warming up on Centre Court and we'll focus our attention on this clash but also bringing you important updates from elsewhere. If Murray can win today it will match his previous best Grand Slam performance by reaching the last 16, which he last did here in 2006.
1538 Coming up next is Andy Murray's clash with Tommy Haas and I'm predicting another easy win for the British number one. He was superb against Xavier Malisse and I don't think Haas is anywhere near the player he was. Let us know what you think by emailing me at christopher.hammer@bskyb.com. Also share your thoughts on any other issues at Wimbledon this year.
1536 Jankovic admits she struggled to move with the strapped knee and doesn't seem too convinced that she'll be able to continue in the tournament without any further problems.
1532 It's all over and Jankovic has survived a real scare - against a hungry opponent and a worrying injury - to progress through to the last 16 following a 2-6 6-4 6-2 triumph.
1530 A marathon tie-break on Court Three has just been won by Petrova 13-11 against Azarenka but there's very little between these two women performance-wise at the moment. Meanwhile Alla Kudryavtseva, who beat Maria Sharapova in the last round, has taken the first set against Shuai Peng.
1527 Jankovic must be praised for the way she's chasing hard for every point despite a heavily-strapped leg. Obviously the second seed can't move as easily as when 100% fit but having broken serve again she's now moved within one game of victory.
1522 Back on Centre and the next two games have gone with serve so Jankovic leads 4-2 in the deciding set. Wozniacki must win this next game or it's probably curtains for another year.
1520 In fact Tipsarevic has just stormed away to take it 7-1 while another men's match between Jurgen Melzer and Arnaud Clement is in to a third set with both players sharing the first two.
1517 On Court One Gasquet has taken the first set against fellow Frenchman Simon 6-3 while Tipsarevic and Tursonov are into a tie-break - as are Azarenka and Petrova in the women's singles.
1515 Wozniacki is growing frustrated out there and knows what a big opportunity she's missing as Jankovic moves 3-1 ahead. Even if she does progress, there's still plenty for her to learn if she's to go on and claim the Wimbledon title.
1510 Jankovic wins a tremendous 30-stroke rally - easily the longest of the match so far - to break Wozniacki and the Serb clearly looks delighted as she clenches her fist. Her leg is heavily strapped but she's one determined athlete.
1506 These two players are big fans of the appeals system and it's perhaps quite alarming how many times the initial judges call is wrong. Anyway Wozniacki has perhaps heard us urging her to be more ruthless and has subsequently broken back.
1503 Despite her injury concern, Jankovic breaks straight away but you have to say her young opponent isn't making her run about as much as she should. You have to go for the kill on these occasions.
1500 We're back under way on Centre Court for the start of the decider between Jankovic and Wozniacki, who is serving first.
1456 We'll take this opportunity to scan around the other courts at SW19 and Dinara Safina has made an early breakthrough against Shahar Peer to lead 2-0 in the first set. Elsewhere it's going with serve between Victoria Azarenka and Nadia Petrova in the opening exchanges on Court Three while in the men's competition Gasquet has a break against Simon and Tipsarevic is level with Tursunov at 3-3 in the first set.
1452 Worrying times for Jankovic, who is currently flat on her back needing some medical treatment after suffering an injury earlier in this match. However, it's only now that it's started to affect her.
1448 It's one set apiece on Centre Court after Jankovic holds her nerve and serve to take the second 6-4 and she'll take the momentum into the decider. It's a fascinating clash so far and there's plenty more drama left in this one.
1443 In the men's doubles, top seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan from the USA have overcome the challenge of Frantisek Cermak and Jordan Kerr in their third-round clash, winning it 6-7 6-4 6-4 6-2.
1440 Some sublime tennis, in particular a glorious winning baseline lob, presents the 17-year-old with two break points but fails to cash in yet again. This is certainly her major problem and seems to choke in these important moments. Goodness knows how many championship points she would need if she actually reaches the final.
1435 Wozniacki fends off Jankovic to prevent the double break although if the world number three can hold her next two service games we will be heading for a deciding set.
1432 The next woman to advance to the fourth round is Tanasugarn, who came from a set down to beat Erakovic 4-6 6-4 6-4.
1430 Wozniacki should really have broken back against Jankovic while trailing 2-3 but couldn't convert her opening after badly mis-hitting a baseline effort far too long. If there's any fault to find with the young Dane it's that she seems to need plenty of chances to actually break. But at least she does create the chances.
1425 Next up on Court One is a mouth-watering all French affair between Richard Gasquet, seeded eight, and his unseeded compatriot Gilles Simon.
1422 And now after a routine service game, the seventh-seeded American and bookies favourite is through with a winning score of 6-1 7-5.
1420 Over on the other show court, Williams has found extra reserves to break Martinez-Sanchez following her mini-recovery and is now within one game of victory.
1418 Wozniacki just about holds serve against the improving Jankovic, who leads 2-1 in the second, while the match we were following on Court Two is now over. Dementieva has come through a tough battle with Dulko to win 7-6 7-5 to book her place in the last 16.
1416 As we expected, Schuettler has finished off his match with Garcia-Lopez on Court Three, winning it 6-2 6-3 6-4 and he'll now meet either Dimitry Tursunov or Janko Tipsarevic, the conqueror of Andy Roddick.
1414 It's been a quite stirring comeback by Martinez-Sanchez against Williams. Despite seemingly down and out, the Spaniard has won three games on the trot to lead 5-4 in the second set and looks a completely different player to the one we saw in the first. She was scared but now she's strong and Venus is a little rattled.
1412 Jankovic strikes back instantly on Centre Court to break Wozniacki at the start of the next set and it would be no shame to see this one go the distance.
1410 Dementieva clings on to her serve after a couple of scares while trailing 4-5 in the second set but Dulko is certainly making her work hard for this.
1405 A little bit of complacency on the part of Williams as Martinez Sanchez breaks serve for the first time and is now serving in the hope of making it 5-4 in the second set.
1402 Wozniacki opened up three set points on Jankovic's serve while leading 5-2 but, as what so often happens, lost the first of these before throwing them all away as the Serbian forced deuce. From there she went on to miss two more opportunities but eventually closed it out on the eighth attempt! So another shock is on the cards
1358: Martinez-Sanchez wins her second game in the second set against Williams but still trails 4-2 and it won't be long before her run at Wimbledon is over.
1355 Kleybanova has advanced to the fourth round after beating Sugiyama 6-4 6-4 while over on Court 11 it's into a third set between Erakovic and Tanasugarn.
1353 Schuettler is motoring on against Garcia-Lopez and two more breaks in the third set has put him on the brink of a place in the last 16.
1350 Ruthless play from Wozniacki as she earns the first break point of the match before Jankovic then hits wide, with a little assistance from the net, to give the Dane a 4-2 lead in the opening set.
1348 Williams is simply too good for Martinez Sanchez and has now won the important break in the third game of the second set to lead 2-1. The American is oozing confidence but at the same time is playing well within herself.
1342 In the men's singles, Germany's Schuettler has opened up a 2-0 set lead against Garcia-Lopez and seems to be coasting having dropped just five games so far.
1340 Back to Court Two and it's level-pegging at 2-2 between Dementieva and Dulko in the second set. The fifth seed still has plenty of work to do here because her opponent is digging her heels in and looks determined to square the match.
1338 Wozniacki is matching the world number three point-for-point in their encounter on Centre and leads 2-1 after three games. There's been some long exciting rallies already and hopefully this will continue - it has the potential to be an absolute cracker.
1336 It doesn't take long before the powerful Williams wraps up the first set and we're guessing it'll be around 20 more minutes before this match is over.
1335 Finally the Spaniard wins a game on this sun baked Court One and unsurprisingly the crowd give her a warm patronising round of applause. She now trails the seventh seed 5-1.
1330 By contrast it's like a poor lamb to the slaughter on Court One as 25-year-old Martinez Sanchez continues to struggle to win even a point. Williams is totally in her element and couldn't have wished for an easier third-round encounter.
1326 Wozniacki, the prodigy who won the junior title here two years ago, looks confident out there on court and takes the opening game of the match on her own serve.
1320 They've taken so long to introduce a plethora of celebrities on Centre Court that the players are yet to start their match, although they're warming up now - at last. Over on the other show court, Williams has stormed into a 4-0 lead and Martinez Sanchez looks rather overawed.
1318 Elsewhere in the women's competition, Marina Erakovic has taken the first set against Tamarine Tanasugarn 6-4 while Alisa Kleybanova leads Ai Sugiyama by a set to nil.
1315 Moments later the Russian wraps up the set and Dulko is absolutely fuming. But who wouldn't be after leading 4-0 at one stage in the set, only to throw it all away.
1313 Dementieva is running away with it, leading 5-1 as they swap sides. Over on Court One, Williams has made a steady start against Martinez Sanchez, winning her opening service game.
1312 While Sue Barker introduces the likes of Terry Wogan to the Centre Court crowd ahead of Jelene Jankovic's match with Caroline Wozniacki, we'll remain focused on this tie-break on two.
1308 I'm handing over to my colleague Chris Hammer now. He take you through this afternoon's action. Feel free to email him at christopher.hammer@bskyb.com and one of us will try to anser any questions you have.
1307 Dulko saves set points before holding for 6-6 and so into a tie-break they go on Court Two.
1300 The players are just coming out on Centre - Jankovic and Wozniacki. Over on Court One, it's Venus Williams and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez. A shock in the Jankovic match could be on the cards. Anyone who saw Wozniacki in action at Eastbourne will know what a talent she is. The 17-year-old looks set to become a real star on the WTA Tour and she should cause Jankovic, not entirely at home on grass, problems today.
1255 Dulko is not up to the task. She's easily broken and Dementieva now looks to be in the box seat. It's 5-5 but the momentum is with the Russian.
1251 Dementieva makes Dulko serve it out. Crunch time for the Argentine as she steps out to serve at 5-4.
1249 Schuettler, who knocked out ninth seed James Blake in the last round, has taken the first set 6-2 against Garcia-Lopez.
1247 This is developing into a close contest. Dulko saves two break points before holding for 5-3. The rallies are getting longer now but Dementieva is under pressure now.
1241 A third game in a row for Dementieva and she is now putting the pressure on Dulko. Elsewhere, Rainer Schuettler has an early break of serve against Guillermo Garcia Lopez and lead 4-2. Tamarine Tanasugarn, one of the female players who simply loves the grass, is also a break up on New Zealander Marina Erakovic. It's 3-1 in that match.
1238 Dementieva seems to be finally finding her feet and she breaks serve for the first time to reduce the deficit to 4-2. Better from the Russian.
1235 Perhaps another of the top seeds is going out here. With Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova already gone, the Williams sisters are not hot favourites to reach the final. Those of you who read my betting preview will already know I've tipped one of the pair for glory and Serena played some good stuff at times against Amelie Mauresmo yesterday. Where do you think the trophy is heading? Let us know your thoughts by emailing me: andy.schooler@bskyb.com
1233 Dementieva is on the board. She is taken to deuce but manages to hold. It's not been one of her awful serving displays but Dulko is returning well and on top at the moment.
1226 Dulko is being cheered on from the sidelines by men's star Fernando Gonzalez. The pair are 'an item'. He'll be happy with this start - Dulko has just made it 4-0, coming from 15-30 to seal the game with a confident volley.
1222 This is not a good start for Dementieva. She saves two break points in her second service game but then misses an easy forehand on the third to fall 3-0 down.
1213 An excellent start from Dulko sees her break serve in the very first game. A cracking forehand down the line winner gives her the early advantage. Dementieva's big weakness is often her serve which is prone to total collapse. It's got better this season but she'll be keen to get a hold on the board in this one.
1210 Dementieva is under way against Dulko. The Russian, a former US and French Open finalist, had to battle through her last match and will need to imrpove today. Dulko is more at home on clay but won the junior doubles title here back in 2001 so won't be too fazed by the grass. I expect Dementieva to win but it could be close. Do you agree? Let us know your thoughts on anything Wimbledon related. Email: andy.schooler@bskyb.com
1200 Still plenty of sun around as the other courts prepare for play. Players are warming up with fifth seed Elena Dementieva one of the big names in action now. She's up against Argentina's Gisela Dulko on Court Two. We'll focus on that first.
1158 Court One starts with Venus Williams against Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez of Spain. She's a qualifier and although Venus hasn't been at her best in dispatching two Britons so far, she should have more than enough to ease into round four. After that it's Richard Gasquet against fellow Frenchman Gilles Simon. The winner of that will play either Murray or Haas in the last 16. Third on will be a doubles match - Briton Jamie Murray with partner Max Mirnyi. They take on James Cerretani and Victor Hanescu in the second round of the men's doubles.
1155 The order of Centre - 1300 start - sees Jelena Jankovic open against Caroline Wozniacki. I feel the young Dane could well become the latest player to cause an upset at this tournament of shocks. She looks like she is going to be a real star and Jankovic's more defensive game could be unpicked in this one. After that it's Murray v Haas. The last Briton standing will start as the favourite, but Haas is a former world number two whose game is more than capable of causing Murray from the baseline. He's more suited to the hardcourts and should problems have blunted him a little in recent years but this is no gimmie for Murray as he looks to return to the last-16 stage he made in 2006. Last on Centre today is second seed Rafael Nadal. He also faces a German veteran, Nicolas Kiefer. He's a player who has a decent grasscourt record - he was the only player who took a set off Roger Federer here three years ago - but he's up against it today.
1130 Welcome to today's coverage of Wimbledon. First things first and the weather is fine - play is already under way on a few courts with the junior tournament now under way. It's the normal start times for the seniors though - 1200 for the outside courts and 1300 on Centre and One. Andy Murray is in action against Tommy Haas on Centre later. He's second match on so expect him in action around 1430. Stay with us and we'll soon look ahead to the day's major action.
