Belle Vue Aces have confirmed the signing of Danish youngster Patrick Hougaard.
Th1 19-year-old, who is an asset of Premier League Reading, comes into to replace fellow countryman Jonas Raun.
"I have finished at school now and have given myself two years to achieve my ambition of becoming a full-time professional rider," said Hougaard.
"I want to see how I progress in that period but I have been improving every year and getting the chance to ride for Belle Vue will be a great experience for me.
"I can learn from riders like Jason Crump and Charlie Gjedde. It will be good that Charlie is there because it will help that there is someone who I can talk to in Danish. The fact those two great riders are at Belle Vue is part of the reason for my decision."
