A1GP organisers have confirmed that Brands Hatch will host the final round of the forthcoming season.
The Kent circuit hosted the first ever A1GP races in 2005 before subsequently being moved to the back on the calendar, staging the final rounds in seasons two and three.
Brands will therefore host the 10th round of the 2008/09 season, which will see the introduction of A1GP's new Ferrari-powered chassis, on the weekend of May 2-3.
"We are pleased to announce A1GP is returning to Brands Hatch for a fourth consecutive season," series chief executive Pete da Silva said.
"We have worked hard to put together an interesting calendar of challenging circuits for the new A1GP Powered by Ferrari cars, and Brands Hatch will provide an exciting final venue."
Series organisers also confirmed that the opening round on the provisional calendar, which was to have taken place at Mugello in Italy on the weekend of September 20-21, will not be rescheduled.
The race was cancelled because of a delay in the production of the new chassis.
"Following the delay to the start of the season it has not been possible to find an alternative date to accommodate A1GP Mugello, Italy in this year's calendar, therefore this event will now be taken out of the Season Four schedule," a statement confirmed.
The fourth season of the World Cup of Motorsport will instead get under way at the Zandvoort circuit in Holland on the weekend of October 4-5.
Race of Champions - including Lewis Hamilton vs Chris Hoy - will be live and in HD on Sky Sports.
