Harry Ellis has marked Leicester's Heineken Cup trip to Munster as the make-or-break moment of the Tigers' season.
Leicester travel to Thomond Park knowing anything less than victory is likely to see their European adventure end at the group stages.
The Tigers need a win at the home of the European Champions, who have not lost in their own back yard for 31 Heineken Cup matches.
Ellis knows it will take a mammoth effort from his colleagues to halt that streak, but he believes a Leicester win could spark a glorious final year under coach Pat Howard.
"It really is the biggest game of the season - how often do we say that - but it's true of this game because we have to go to Munster and win and win well," said the England man.
"To go there and get a win would be tremendous. It would, hopefully, be a real springboard for the rest of the season.
"When we get really switched on for these games we perform really well and hopefully we will do that again on Saturday.
"They are very passionate about their rugby over there but we are determined and will be switched on to giving them a good fight - I'm sure it will be a good game either way.
"They showed in winning at Welford Road that they are a typical Munster side - O'Gara and Stringer controlled the game very well and their forwards are a pack of workers - but so are we so we will be massively up for it and it will be a great showdown.
"Our forwards have been outstanding this season, we showed against Cardiff that if we can get good possession then we can score good tries and hopefully we can do the same against Munster."
Munster v Leicester Tigers is live on Sky Sports 1 from 5.30pm on Saturday.
