Newcastle have decided to accept the punishment handed out to lock Andy Perry, and have confirmed they will not appeal against the decision.
Perry was involved in a brawl with Leicester's Julian White during their recent 16-16 draw at Welford Road.
The Falcons forward has since been dealt a four-week ban, half of the punishment received by White.
However, coach Rob Andrew is still unhappy with what he feels is an unfair ruling, but he confirmed that the club will not appeal.
"We have reluctantly decided not to appeal the suspension.
"We are disappointed with the verdict and feel we have been very hard done by, but we just have to move on," said Andrew.
