Chris Horsman has spoken of what it means to represent Wales in rugby union, and the Worcester man insists that there is no greater team in world rugby.
Horsman is preparing to make his international debut against New Zealand on Saturday, and the All Blacks are currently the undisputed number one team in the rankings.
However, Horsman believes that Wales embody rugby - and he compared them to the top team in football.
"To play rugby for Wales is like playing football for Brazil," said Horsman.
"It is just the highest honour, and once you have played over in Wales and been involved in Welsh rugby, you can't help but want to aim for that goal.
"I have worked hard for the last three years to get myself into this position. I am not the sort of person who gives up easily, and I have been quite single-minded about getting this opportunity.
"You don't play rugby not to have these chances, and if I am lucky enough to be involved on Saturday, then that is what you want.
"You want these situations, that is why you train for all those hours and make all the sacrifices. Wales versus New Zealand, it just doesn't get any bigger than that."
Fellow front row Mefin Davies echoed the views of Horsman regarding the size of the All Blacks clash, admitting:
"It is going to be difficult, no doubt about it, we are straight in at the deep end."
