Cipriani: Will bounce back
Despite his first major setback to his career Lawrence Dallaglio believes Danny Cipriani will emerge as a stronger player.
After sustaining a fracture dislocation of his right ankle in the Wasps' play-off victory over Bath on Sunday the England fly-half faces six months in rehabilitation.
As well as missing the Guinness Premiership final against Leicester, England's tour to New Zeland he also faces a battle to play again this year.
"Danny's been having a stellar season and looked set to continue that. It's very disappointing for him," said Dallaglio.
The Wasps skipper Dallaglio who faced a similar injury in 2005 believes the 20-year-old who was discharged from hospital on Wednesday can benefit from a spell on the sidelines.
"That's the way he has to look at it. It will give him an opportunity to work on other areas of his body. I know he'll come back much stronger for this," added the former England captain.
"Danny faces a long time in rehab but there is a positive to come out of this - three of the six months he'll be out won't contain much rugby.
"Knowing him as I do he'll work incredibly hard to get back."
