Davenport: Knee trouble
Lindsay Davenport will miss next week's Los Angeles Classic because of the ongoing injury to her right knee.
The veteran American was forced to pull out of this week's Stanford Classic, her third withdrawal from five events.
Davenport has forced her way back into the world's top 30 since returning to the circuit following the birth of her first son, Jagger, last year.
However, she now faces a race against time to be fit to represent her country at the Beijing Olympics.
