Broad: Injury scare
England were relieved to learn on the eve of their second tour match in South Africa that a scan on Stuart Broad's right shoulder showed no signs of serious damage.
The England and Wales Cricket Board revealed Broad jarred his right shoulder after an awkward fall during Saturday's emphatic win over the Diamond Eagles, England's opening match in South Africa.
The Nottinghamshire seamer left the field during the 185-run victory - in which he took two wickets - and the problem proved serious enough for a scan to be needed.
However, the scan result has put Broad in the clear, although he will receive ongoing treatment and miss at least two of England's upcoming games - practice matches against the Warriors in Kimberley and South Africa A in Bloemfontein to prepare for the internationals.
Meanwhile, bowler Graham Onions is also facing a late fitness examination on stiffness in his lower back ahead of the Warriors clash.
