Skjelbred: Impressed in Europe
Rosenborg's Per Ciljan Skjelbred is reported to be attracting interest from a host of Premier League clubs.
The midfielder impressed during this season's UEFA Champions League group stage and is now thought to be a target for Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City.
Already a full international after just two years of first-team football, Rosenborg director Erik Hoftun admits that the club may struggle to hold onto their prize asset for too much longer.
"At some point we will lose him, but I hope that it is many years until that happens," Hoftun told VG.
"However, if a top club puts £5million on the table it will be hard to keep hold of him."
Skjelbred is refusing to read too much into the speculation though and insists that he is fully focused on helping Rosenborg reclaim their Norwegian championship this year.
"I don't care that people are interested in me," he said.
"I play for Rosenborg and my focus will remain here."
