Stoke City have completed the capture of Sunderland keeper Marton Fulop on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 24-year-old former Tottenham shot-stopper spent the first half of the season on loan with Leicester City.

Fulop will now do battle with Potters' regular first choice Steve Simonsen for Stoke's number one jersey for the remainder of the season.

Fulop is behind the likes of Craig Gordon and Darren Ward in Sunderland's pecking order, although manager Roy Keane has inserted a 24-hour release clause in the loan deal.

With Fulop now at Stoke, Potters manager Tony Pulis has allowed veteran keeper Russell Hoult to join League Two outfit Notts County for the rest of the season.
