Once a Wolf always a Wolf

There's a likelihood that my kids will be born in either Manchester or London - so is it too much to brand them!? A little WWFC on their head - just under their hairline, I'm not a monster!

Quotes of the week
Steve Edge told Soccer AM that it can be a thankless task supporting Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The star of the BBC2 comedy The Cup has been a season ticket holder at Wolves for over ten years but revealed it wasn't always enjoyable.
Wolves are often described as a sleeping giant because despite the clubs obvious stature they have increasingly found themselves outside of the top flight of English football, but Edge said he was born a Wolves fan and so would his children.
"You wouldn't choose it would you!" He said. "I was definitely born into it. I'm from Cannock and it's a bit of a Wolves town and my dad was a Wolves fan.
"There's a likelihood that my kids will be born in either Manchester or London - so is it too much to brand them!? A little WWFC on their head - just under their hairline, I'm not a monster!"
Edge, who has also appeared in sitcoms such as Peep Show and Mike Bassett: Manager, said he was 'ready to rock' after the show and even had his season ticket on him, which he revealed only cost him £345.
"It's cheap because it was an 'early bird', you know when they say 'no matter what division we're going to be in...' we know what division we're going to be in! Don't try and kid us."
The hilarious actor was in a pessimistic mood though and reflected on last season when Mick McCarthy's side narrowly missed out on a play-off position.
Typical
To make things worse they were pipped to the post by rivals Hull City who eventually got promoted to the Premier League and Edge told Max and Helen that it was just typical of the Molineux club.
"That's the way Wolves do things," he said. "It was like the first season that Dave Jones was in charge and we were top for most of the season.
"But then in the last seven games we dropped to second and City took over at the top and we were saying 'it can't get any worse than this'.
"Then we dropped to third and again we were saying 'it can't get any worse than this' and then (West Bromwich) Albion went second! They went up and we met Birmingham in the play-offs and lost to them."
Despite deciding to give the current team the benefit of the doubt Edge admitted he had set his sights low this year and was expecting another disappointing season.
"I think we'll probably do the same as last year," he said. "We'll finish just on the borders of the play-offs in some really weird twist of the knife in the back way that we're not quite in there."
