Jones-Buchanan: back in the 19

Leeds second rower Jamie Jones-Buchanan could be set to make his long-awaited return from injury after being named in the Rhinos' 19-man squad to face Hull on Friday night.

The Great Britain international has been out for the last nine games since damaging nerves in his shoulder against St Helens in March.

Also returning to the squad is French international Eric Anselme, who has recovered from a knee injury he picked up in the French Cup Final. Simon Worrall is the man to miss out.

Australian Shaun Berrigan and Tommy Lee have both been ruled out for Hull.

Lee was set to have a scan on a knee injury on Thursday and could be sidelined for two months. The trip to Headingley will be the first game Lee has missed this season.

Battling

Berrigan has been battling with numerous injuries and is rested after playing far more game-time than anticipated in last week's Challenge Cup win at Bradford.

With Berrigan and Lee out, coach Richard Agar has brought teenaged back Tom Briscoe into his 19-man squad, along with Matt Dale.

Back rower Dale has been on loan at Super League rivals Wakefield but because of Hull's injury problems he has been recalled.

Leeds Rhinos squad: Ablett, Anselme, Bailey, Jones-Buchanan, Burgess, Burrow, Diskin, Donald, Ellis, Hall, Leuluai, McGuire, Peacock, Scruton, Senior, Sinfield, Smith, Tansey, Webb.

Hull FC squad: Byrne, Burnett, Briscoe, Carvell, Dale, Dykes, Dowes, G. Horne, Hall, Houghton, Manu, Radford, Raynor, Sing, Thackeray, Tickle, Washbrook, Wheeldon, Yeaman.
