Up this week for the scout is UAE starlet Ahmed Khalil who was recommended by Sky Sports reader Jared Piredda - who wins a copy of Football Manager 2009.

The scout reports...

Regarded as one of the best prospects to come out of Asia, United Arab Emirates's Ahmed Khalil looks to have got what it takes to be a future sensation.

The 17-year-old is tremendously gifted and has been likened to Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o for his pace and silky skills.

A flamboyant striker, Khalil has excellent technique and is known for scoring incredible goals at both club and international level.

He is not a great decision maker, though, and often goes for the extravagant when a simple pass would suffice. He is not physically strong either, but that should change as he gets older.

At the recent AFC U-19 Championships, he led his country to the cup after scoring both goals in UAE's 2-1 win over Uzbekistan in the final. He was also named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and Golden Boot winner.

UAE coach Mahdi Ali is a huge fan of Khalil and believes he will grow to be an important player in the coming years and he has already capped him at senior level.

There is no doubt the boy has ability, but there is a long way to go before he is ready for a big move to Europe - despite a recent trial at Chelsea.

Voted Asian Young Player of the Year, hopes are high he could become UAE's and possibly even Asia's greatest footballing product - one to keep an eye on.
