Beckford: Frustrated by Westwood

ALL OVER: That injury time strike from Freedman has rescued hope for Leeds in thier 2-1 League One play-off semi-final first leg defeat to Carlisle at Elland Road. Stay with Skysports.com for all the post-match reaction.

90 + 6 - GOAL LEEDS!!! Freedman scores. Carlisle fail to clear a long ball and Freedman scrambles in from close range. A lot of added time?

90 + 3 - Booking: Tempers flair as Hughes goes in the book for clattering Horwood with a bit of afters.

90 + 2 - Substitution: Grahma heads off for Gary Madine.

90 - Added time: There will be four minutes added time.

89 - Substitution: A late change for Leeds as Howson goes off for Andy Hughes.

88 - Great block: Westwood again foils Leeds as he blocks twice in quick succession from the resulting corner. It has been his night.

86 - Foul: Leeds have a free-kick right on the edge of the box. Bradley Johnson takes and Carlisle are relieved to the effort, which was bound for the top corner, deflect wide off Arnison.

84 - No worries: Leeds have total possession, but they are not going anywhere and Carlisle will be very happy.

81 - Running down the clock: Carlisle are hoping to waste time as Taylor runs the ball into the corner, but Leeds regain possession.

79 - Substitution: Grant Smith heads off to be replaced by Carlisle club captain Paul Thirlwell. The changes are disrupting the flow of the game, which is not to Leeds' benefit.

77 - Substitution: Leeds replace Prutton with Sebastien Carole as Chris Welch claims he can feel the home side's heart break in Vancouver.

75 - Booking: Arnison goes in the book for taking his time with a throw-in.

74 - Sitting back: Leeds are well on top now as Carlisle look to shut up shop, but I don't think the home side are going to find a way past Westwood.

72 - Penalty? Leeds appeal for another penalty as David Prutton blasts at goal and the ball strikes Arnison. Have seen them given.

70 - All wrong: Kandol does not look like he has is sights correctly set tonight. He has been well wide of the mark on a number of occasions since joining the fray.

68 - Substitution: Hackney heads off for Carlisle and is replaced by Cleveland Taylor.

66 - Fantastic stop: Westwood again denies Leeds as Carlisle defender Paul Arnison deflects a header towards goal and his team-mate expertly tips over.

64 - No way through: Danny Livesey and Peter Murphy have been superb at the back for Carlisle.

62 - Comeback: Leeds are enjoying a good period, but they have not tested Westwood.

60 - Lifted: The change has brought Leeds to life, but they lack the composure of Carlisle - who appear now appear content with a two-goal lead and are sitting back.

58 - Substitution: Leeds bring on Tresor Kandol for the ineffective Beckford. Could be a controversial move.

55 - Travel sick: Leeds fan Ian Scott tells me he grew up supporting his side in England. He now lives in Israel, but is following my commentary in New York. I feel dizzy.

53 - Marques call: Bob Ostwick feels Marques definitely needs to come on. Could be a bit late in the day now.

52 - Deserved: Carlisle deserve their lead. Leeds appear to have underestimated their opponents and the visitors have been excellent in possession.

50 - GOAL CARLISLE!!! Spoke to soon Bridge-Wilkinson scores. Leeds give the ball away on the half way line and Horwood squares from the left for Bridge-Wilkinson to tap in. Uphill for Leeds now.

48 - Lucky escape: Leeds youngster Howson foolishly refuses to clear and is robbed by Marc Bridge-Wilkinson. But Leeds goalkeeper Ankergren rescues his colleague when it would have been easier for Carlisle to score. That would have been curtains.

47 - Tactics: There have not been any changes, but Swedish Leeds fan Lollo thinks that the home side need to shift to a 4-3-3 formation and that there should not be so much respect for Carlisle. Could be dangerous the visitors have looked very shrewd on the counter-attack.

46 - WE'RE BACK: I've been bombarded by Leeds fans in the interval who appear to have already thrown in the towel. As the second half gets under way there is plenty of life in this yet. Don't forget, if you want get in touch, it is peter.fraser@bskyb.com..

45 + 1 - HALF-TIME: An enthralling first half comes to a close with Carlisle deservedly in front. It is a quick recharge of the batteries for me and then hopefully we will have more of the same.

45 - Added time: There will be one minute added time. Leeds don't like Carlisle's time-wasting antics.

42 - Great save, again: Westwood produces a great block when one-on-one with Beckford and he then claims the corner. He is having a stunning game.

40 - Wrong option: Hackney is again in acres on the left, but he opts to drive the ball across goal when a delicate chip of a cross would have done the job. His team-mates are disgusted at his incorrect choice.

39 - Good try: Jonathon Douglas has a pop, but Westwood is behind it all the way. How impressed with your goalkeeper have you been Carlisle fans? He is comfortably on a nine in my player ratings at the moment.

38 - Fearing the worst: Leeds fan Chris Welch believes tonight's match will be decisive. If his side at home he fears it will be curtains.

36 - Leeds corner: The home side have the chance to respond, but Carlisle are well-drilled and Freedman makes a hash of his volley.

34 - Aerial problems: It was another aerial clearance that Leeds made a mess of to allow Carlisle to clear the ball. Scott Pollard feels substitute Rui Marques would sort out the problems.

32 - GOAL CARLISLE!!! Graham scores. Hackney volleys at goal after Leeds half clear a corner and the effort deflects in off the behind of Graham. Carlisle deserve it.

28 - Copy cat: In an identical fashion to Freedman, Beckford curls towards goal and Westwood again produces a stunning save.

27 - Left side combination: THe pairing of Evan Horwood and Simon Hackney is proving very profitable.

26 - McAllister frustration: Leeds boss Gary McAllister, a master passer in his playing days, is stalking his technical area as his side are comprehensively out manoeuvred in possession. Leeds cannot get hold of the ball. Jordan Wright his desperate for his side to 'knuckle down'.

24 - Across the pond: Pietro in the USA wishes Leeds still had Alan Smith to help them to the Championship, while David Gough feels the defence of the seventies would be Leeds' answer to their aerial problems.

23 - Booking: Dobie goes in the book after clattering Lubomir Michalik. No complaints

21 - Danger: Leeds are again lucky to escape as Ankergren just punches the ball away from the head of Scott Dobie. What is going wrong Leeds fans?

20 - Flown by: I can't believe 20 minutes have gone by already. The only thing that is missing is a goal.

18 - Keep ball: Carlisle are looking dangerous in possession and Leeds are struggling when the ball is delivered from the wide areas.

15 - A bit of a breather: After a slight lull in proceedings, things spice up again as Scott Dobie goes close with a header. If this meeting stays goalless it will be a miracle.

13 - End-to-end: A nightmare for managers, but great for the spectator. Carlisle are unfortunate not to score as Graham has a header well saved by Casper Ankergren, but Leeds break and Freedman goes close. I'm having trouble keeping up.

12 - Corner cleared: After a bit of a scramble, Carlisle clear the corner. Electric start to proceedings.

11 - Top save: Freedman has time and space and opens up his body to curl towards the top corner, but Kieran Westwood tips behind expertly for a corner.

9 - Early predictions: Popular opinion seems to favour a comfortable win for Leeds. What do you think Carlisle fans? Your team has started well and is stifling the home midfield.

7 - Let off: Sloppy defending from Leeds allows Danny Graham to cross and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson rattles the post with a brilliant volley. Great technique and he is unlucky not to open the scoring. Great start here.

5 - Penalty? Carlisle want a penalty as Leeds defender Jonathan Howson appears to handle in the area. It looks like ball to hand to me.

4 - Early taunts: Lee Puckering feels the full house at Elland Road will be a collector's item next season with Leeds still stuck in League One! I'm all in favour of some banter, but let's keep it friendly.

3 - Freedman watch: Carlisle are going to have to keep a close eye on the movement of Freedman. The veteran looks fully focused for tonight's meeting.

2 - Early signs: Both sides look like they are hoping to make a positive start as Leeds forward Freedman almost sneaks in but he can't quite control the ball.

KICK-OFF: We are underway as Leeds get the game going. Let's hope for a real classic tonight. There is a fantastic atmosphere at Elland Road.

Packed ground: Elland Road is building towards a sell-out - a great effort for League One. There will be around 40,000 in the the ground by my estimate.

Beckford back: The good news for the home side is the return of Jermaine Beckford. The striker has missed a number of games of late through injury but he returns up front to partner on-loan Dougie Freedman.

Carlisle team: Westwood, Arnison, Livesey, Murphy, Horwood, Dobie, Lumsdon, Bridge-Wilkinson, Grant Smith, Hackney, Graham. Subs: Howarth, Thirlwell, Campion, Taylor, Madine.

Leeds team: Ankergren, Richardson, Huntington, Michalik, Johnson, Prutton, Douglas, Howson, Kilkenny, Beckford, Freedman. Subs: Lucas, Marques, Carole, Kandol, Hughes.
