UPDATE: West Ham have equalised against Aston Villa through Dean Ashton, but it does not matter much as Everton have fifth spot wrapped up.
87 DOUBLE CHANGE: Baines comes on for Yobo and Gravesen replaces Anichebe.
GOAL: Yakubu scores with ease from the penalty spot.
PENALTY : Osman is brought down by Taylor for a penalty. This will make the game safe.
79 -SUB: Kazenga LuaLua comes on for Enrique.
75 - Great save : Anichebe misses a great chance to make the game safe when he goes clear on goal only to see Harper keep out his effort.
GOAL : Lescott restores Everton's lead when he volleys home Fernandes' cross at the back post.
68 - Inches away: Anichebe breaks free down right and fires over a cross which just evades Yakubu right in front of goal as Everton go in search of a winner.
66 - BOOKING : Smith is booked for a late lunge on Pienaar.
62 - Smith shot: The ball breaks to Alan Smith on the edge of the box and he fires in a shot which Howard gathers at the second attempt.
Possession time : Newcastle are enjoying the majority of possession and are looking dangerous.
55 -Jagielka chance : Jagielka gets on the cross form the right, but he heads his effort over the top. Are you Everton fans getting nervous with Villa winning.
UPDATE: Aston Villa are 2-1 up at Upton Park thanks to Gareth Barry's goal meaning for a nervous finish at Goodison Park for Everton fans.
52- Harper to the rescue : Harper denies Everton a second goal when he tips Fernandes' free-kick over the top. From the resulting corner Yobo heads well over the top.
51 - Fernandes denied: Fernandes fires in a fierce free-kick which Harper does well to parry away in front of a host of players.
49 - Anichebe effort: Anichebe tries his luck from the edge of the box, but his effort lacks the powe to trouble Harper.
GOAL: Michael Owen scores from the spot to draw Newcastle level, but Howard really should have done better letting the ball go under his body.
46 - PENALTY: Yobo brings down N'Zogbia for a penalty.
SUB: Cacapa is on for Faye at the start of the second half as Everton get the game underway again.
HALF-TIME : Everton go in at the break 1-0 to the good thanks to Yakubu's goal. What changes should both managers make in the interval.
ADDED TIME : There will be two minutes added on at the end of the opening 45 minutes.
40 - Vital save : Osman weaves his way into the box with a tricky run and fires in a shot which is superbly saved by Harper to keep Newcastle in the game. It is all Everton at the present minute.
39 - What a miss : Phil Neville breaks down the right and picks out an unmarked Yobo inside the box who somehow sends his header over the top with the goal at his mercy.
38 - Harper lucky: Harper lets a weak shot Anichebe spill over his arms and he is relieved to see it fall just wide.
36 - Osman curler : Osman has a shot from the edge of the box which curls just wide of the far post.
Disallowed: Yakubu has a goal disallowed for an earlier foul in the build-up but the decision looks harsh on Everton.
33 - Penalty claim : Yakubu goes down in the box under a challenge, but their appeals are waved away.
32 - N'Zogbia goes close: N'Zogbia goes close with a free-kick from fully 30 yards which flies just over the crossbar.
28 -GOAL : Yakubu heads Everton in front when he rises to power home Fernandes' free-kick.
28 - BOOKING : Damien Duff is booked for tugging back Pienaar.
27 - Dangerous cross : N'Zogbia sends over a dangerous cross from the left, but there is no one on the end of it in a Newcastle shirt as Everton survive the danger.
25 - Harper alert : Anichebe breaks down the right and sees his shot kept out by Howard at his near post.
23 - Lescott blocked : Lescott makes space for himself on the edge of the box and fires in a shot which is blocked by the Newcastle defence.
Thirsty work: All the players are getting refreshments on the sidelines as Abdoulaye Faye receives treatment for a head injury, but the big defender is okay to continue.
20 - Jagielka effort : Jagielka turns in the box and tries his luck with an acrobatic volley which flies just wide of the target.
18 - What a waste : Maunel Fernandes blasts over when well-placed as another Everton move breaks down.
In the dark: Newcastle fan Felipe Arra is wondering why Obafemi Martins is missing for Newcastle and hopes Owen stays at Newcastle.
Update: Ashley Young has equalised for Villa at West Ham so the battle for fifth is backing in the melting pot.

10 - Yakubu goes close : Yakubu works his way past two challenges on the edge of the box and drags his left-footed shot just wide of the target.
: As it stands it means Everton will finish in fifth and claim a Uefa Cup spot.
Good news : Good news for Everton fans West Ham have taken the lead against Aston Villa courtesy of Nolberto Solano's goal.
6 - Howard save : Tim Howard is forced into the first serious save of the game when he gets down low to Andy Carroll's shot.
Owen fears : Newcastle fan Jon Garner hpes this won't be Michael Owen's last appearance for Newcastle as doubts grow over his future. Do you think Newcastle should keep Owen?
