Carlos Edwards Philippe Senderos Sunderland v Arsenal

FULL-TIME: The game ends 1-0 to the Gunners. Both sides had excellent chances to score but the men between the sticks - Fulop and Fabianski - were both on fine form. Walcott scored the winner in the first-half and it could've been more from either side.

90 + 2 - Equaliser? O'Donovan thinks he's got the equaliser in true Sunderland fashion in injury time, but Fabianski pulls off a last-idtch save. Great ball in from Whitehead and O'Donovan connected sweetly but the score stays the same thanks to Fabianski's athleticism

90 - Great save: Fulop has had a very good game and produces a fantastic save from Mark Randall after good play from Arsenal

87 - Debut goal: Mark Randall thought he had scored his first ever Premiership goal but was denied by the linesman's flag, good finish all the same!

84 - Keeper mishap: Lucasz Fabianski has made some excellent decisions today, coming off his line well but got a little giddy I think when he went for this one and caused confusion in his own defence - but the Black Cats failed to capitalise on the mistake

78 - Clever football: Michael Chopra has a big claim for a penalty after excellent play from Andy Reid who lofted in a ball which was flicked onto the striker infront of goal. He looks to have gone down very easily under Song's challenge on the replay as the game continues. Mark Randall comes on for the disappointing Nicklas Bendtner

74 - O'Donovan effort: The Irishman has another great chance to level the scores with a couple of team-mates screaming for the ball as O'Donovan opts to shoot and drags his effort well wide

68 - Adebayor chance: Just as Bendtner looses his footing and another chance goes begging, he finds himself with the ball at his feet and releases Walcott. The nippy forward pulls the ball back but behind Adebayor and the leggy striker cannot finish off the defence-splitting move

65 - Great opportunity: Yorke puts in a teasing cross which evades Senderos and finds O'Donovan unmarked and with Fabianski to beat... but the Irishman fails to connect well with the placed volley and Arsenal's keeper has a comfortable save to make

60 - Abysmal: Gilberto lashes the resulting free-kick well wide with the goal gaping, from about eight yards away, terrible effort

58 - Backpass: Whitehead gives the ball back to his keeper and Fulop picks it up! The ref has no choice but to give an indirect free-kick and Sunderland pile on a 10-man wall

57 - Handball claims: Clichy goes on yet another mazy run down the left and his cross is cut out by Jonny Evans with cries from a few Arsenal fans and Nicklas Bendtner calling for handball but their appeals are waved away

55 - Almost: Walcott almost threaded through and excellent ball into Bendtner's feet but Fulop is alert to it

54 - Booking: Danny Collins dives in to stop Johan Djourou's stride forward and sees a yellow card for his troubles

51 - Clichy run: Gael Clichy powers forward and cuts inside ready to pull the trigger but defensive stalward Jonny Evans denies the Frenchman with a strong tackle

SECOND-HALF: Jones has gone to hospital with a wrist injury but it gives 22-year-old Roy O'Donovan the chance to impress as the second-half gets underway. Zayn's going for an Arsenal win along with Pierre, all the way from America, giving an Gunners 3-1 win

Wrong decision? An excellent spot by Iain to say that Flamini's future club, AC Milan are currently flagging two goals behind Napoli. If the result stays the same, that leaves Fiorentina just one point behind with a game in hand - leaving AC unlikely to qualify for the Champions League... has trophy-hungry Flamini jumped ship a little too soon? hayley.paterson@bskyb.com

HALF-TIME: Black Cats fan Chris thinks this tightly-contested game will end with a 2-1 win over Arsenal and Jones getting the winner. It's been an entertaining first-half with Walcott strong in the attack and scoring the opener. Sunderland were getting back into the game towards the end of the half and the three points are still up for grabs.

43 - Jones injury: Kenwyne Jones holds his wrist in pain after charging down a Gilberto effort, Keane looks on anxiously

42 - Anger: Adebayor's getting frustrated with the young line-up favouring to shoot or pass to others rather than picking him out. But the Gunners look handy in the attack and are forcing a lot of corners

40 - Too heavy: Jones takes down a ball but his first touch lets him down and rolls into the thankful arms of Fabianski. Ryan from Perth thinks Arsenal are well on their way to a 3-0 win and is pleased with Walcott - but I'm afraid his Wigan v Utd prediction isn't going his way so far after Ronaldo's earlier penalty

38 - Conga: Well the Sunderland fans seem happy with the season and begin to do the conga all around the stadium - giving the stewards a headache and a job to do - much to the jeers of the crowd!

36 - Good chances: Sunderland are getting a few half-decent chances and making the Arsenal back four work during set-pieces. Danny Collins is the latest target man to plant his header just over the bar

Agreement: Darryl from Florida is in agreement with Nnamdi in that Hleb wouldn't be as missed as Flamini if he signs for Inter. Darryl thinks Hleb over-dribbles and fails to use the ball effectively

32 - Jones injury: Kenwyne Jones groggily leaves the field after challenging a header - he landed awkwardly but is eager to get back onto the field

Score prediction: I think Ali from London spoke too soon when they thought Arsenal's side might fall to a Sunderland victory after the under-strengthed line-up. But it's looking good so far Ali with the opener, keep the faith!

24 - GOAL!!! And there it is, Walcott finds himself in acres of space latching onto a throughball and finishes in style past the advancing Fulop. He's on fire the England play-maker

22 - Strike: Walcott drags the ball back after finding space just outside the box, he opts to shoot with his left giving Fulop a comfortable save. He could've been better releasing Adebayor or striking it with his right. Either way he's looking effective

20 - Evans cut-out: Sunderland's player of the season Jonny Evans cuts-out a cross from the dangerous Theo Walcott. The atmosphere is buzzing around the Stadium of Light

Proud: While Walcott wears his shirt with pride and looks a tyrant down the wings for Arsenal, Nnamdi thinks the Gunners' Hleb is not what the side needs and should follow Flamini out the door and jump on the first plane out of the Emirates! What do others think? hayley.paterson@bskyb.com

After a corner from the right, Dwight Yorke finds the ball on the edge of the box and hammers in a half-volley, but it sails over the bar

14 - Edwards pressure: Carlos Edwards looks up for it as he hassles the Arsenal defence and pressures every loose ball

7 - Free-kick: Collins strides forward and as he cuts in, Eboue looks to have tackled him fairly, but the man in the middle thinks otherwise and awards the free-kick. Leadbitter leans back for the curler but puts it well over the bar

6 - Great save: Fulop denies Adebayor with a lunging save, making sure he got his body in the way with the striker looking odds-on to score

Comments: Remember to e-mail your thoughts on this game and the hopes for next season. hayley.paterson@bskyb.com

Time delay: The ref's stopped play for a few minutes as Eboue gets taken away on a stretcher - things don't look promising for the defender after a Danny Collins foul

1 - Eboue drive: The right-back flies forward down the flank and pulls back the ball, giving debutant Fulop an early chance to get his hands on the cross, excellent opening first couple of seconds, let alone minutes!

Kick-off: The final day of football for this season begins and Carlos Edwards unleashes a fantastic effort in the opening seconds! A sensational start to the game and great save by Fabianski!

Arsenal team news: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has named a strong starting line-up with Philippe Senderos and Johan Djourou replacing Kolo Toure and William Gallas in the only two changes.

Sunderland team news: Sunderland boss Roy Keane has left £9million keeper Craig Gordon sitting on the bench for the visit of Arsenal. The Scotland international's place is taken by Marton Fulop, who has been handed his first appearance of the season for the club, in one of five changes. Carlos Edwards, Grant Leadbitter, Dwight Yorke and Ross Wallace all return as Danny Higginbotham, Michael Chopra, Liam Miller and Kieran Richardson have made way.

Arsenal Line-up: Fabianski, Song Billong, Senderos, Djourou, Clichy, Eboue, Denilson, Silva, Walcott, Adebayor, Bendtner. Subs: Mannone, Traore, Nordtveit, Randall, Barazite.

Sunderland Line-up: Fulop, Whitehead, Nosworthy, Evans, Collins, Edwards, Yorke, Leadbitter, Wallace, Reid, Jones. Subs: Gordon, Miller, Higginbotham, Chopra, O'Donovan.
