FULL-TIME Chelsea's sloppy end to the game mattered little in terms of the title but it does mean they finished two points behind Man Utd.
90 + 3 - GOAL Taylor seizes on a poor clearance to equalise for Bolton.
90 - Still time There are three extra minutes to be played both here and at Wigan.
88 - No urgency now Chelsea are fully aware of the wider situation and are now just passing the ball around with little intent.
85 - Proud supporters Vicki Penney believes Chelsea should stand proud after losing out on goal difference only in the Premier League title race.
82 - Caution Drogba is shown a yellow card for a foul on McCann.
81 - Bad news from Wigan Man Utd have gone 2-0 ahead at Wigan and Chelsea need a miracle now in the final ten minutes.
80 - Off the line Ashley Cole clears off the line from Stelios to keep Bolton at bay.
79 - Substitution Joe Cole, who has had a good game and a brilliant season, is substituted by Mikel for the closing stages.
77 - Looking shaky Chelsea are allowing Bolton a lot of possession at the moment. They are sitting deep but can Megson's men take advantage?
75 - Chance for Cole Joe Cole jinks his way through to the edge of the box before rifling a shot straight at Al-Habsi.
72 - Fans behind Bolton Natalie is desperate for Bolton to equalise as she does not want Chelsea to have any chance of winning the title. The Trotters are putting up a good fight but time is running out.
69 - Substitution Diouf is given a good ovation by the Bolton fans as he makes way for Stelios.
68 - Blues back on top Chelsea are pushing forward again in pursuit of a second goal but Ballack's effort is well held by Al-Habsi.
65 - Cech to the rescue Diouf, in possibly his last game for Bolton, fires a shot on the turn that forces Cech into a fine save.
62 - GOAL Shevchenko scrambles the ball home to put Chelsea ahead.
60 - Come on Wigan James Bates believes a goal for Wigan could give Chelsea the lift they need to see off Bolton.
58 - Smashed over Ballack pulls the trigger from 30 yards out but his powerful shot rises over the crossbar.
55 - Fluent passing Chelsea are settling into a good rhythm but Bolton appear to have weathered that storm at the start of the second half and are looking more comfortable again.
52 - McCann clearance Belletti's cross from the right is expertly cleared by McCann, but how long can Bolton hang on?
48 - Deflected wide Belletti's effort is deflected wide after great work by Joe Cole. Chelsea have started the second half superbly.
47 - Malouda goes close Malouda almost gives Chelsea the lead in spectacular style as his swerving, dipping volley from 30 yards is tipped onto the bar by Al-Habsi.
Back underway Bolton get the second half started. Grant has brought Shevchenko on for Makelele as the season enters its final 45 minutes.
Hope for Chelsea Rob from Milwaukee believes it is too early for any conclusions to be drawn. He is backing Wigan to equalise against Man Utd and Chelsea to score here at Stamford Bridge.
HALF-TIME It has been anything but the ideal half for Chelsea. They are being held, Terry has gone off injured and Man Utd are winning at Wigan.
45 - Under pressure Chelsea are enjoying a superb spell as the first half draws to a close. Three minutes of stoppage time have been signalled.
43 - McCann to the rescue Lampard's cross towards the back post is headed behind for a corner by McCann.
41 - Any chance for Chelsea? A lot of fans have been in touch writing off Chelsea's title hopes following the Ronaldo goal for Man Utd. Is there no way this could turn around in the second half?
39 - Caution McCann is perhaps unlucky to be booked after sliding in and dispossessing Ashley Cole, but he does catch the Chelsea full-back with his follow-through.
37 - Cole tests Al-Habsi Joe Cole tries his luck from the edge of the area but Al-Habsi makes a routine stop down to his right.
36 - Bolton backing Steven from Abertillery is glad that Bolton are putting in a good performance. They certainly are Steven and have limited Chelsea's chances so far.
34 - Cole threat Joe Cole has been lively down the right and sends over another fine cross, but Bolton's commitment has been admirable and they scramble the ball clear.
33 - One-way traffic As things stand Chelsea cannot win the title but they are pouring forward in pursuit of an opening goal.
31 - Goal for Man Utd It grows even quieter as Ronaldo puts Man Utd in front, while Taylor strikes a long-range effort wide for Bolton here.
30 - Penalty at the JJB A hush descends as news filters through of a penalty for Man Utd against Wigan.
28 - Great defence Drogba appears to be through on goal but Steinsson tracks back excellently and throws his body on the line to make a great challenge.
24 - Terry update Terry is being taken to hospital amid concerns over an arm injury.
23 - Chelsea support David O'Leary, surely not the former Leeds and Villa boss, is backing Chelsea to beat Bolton and win the title with a little bit of aid from Wigan.
21 - Drogba goes close Chelsea win a free-kick in a good position and Drogba curls his effort agonisingly wide of the post.
19 - Shaky defence? Chelsea have not had any trouble at the back as yet but they are now without Terry and Carvalho. How will they cope with the aerial threat presented by Bolton?
18 - Caution O'Brien is booked for a late tackle on Ballack.
17 - No score at the JJB Man Utd have not yet broken the deadlock against Wigan and Chelsea will be desperate to put the pressure on with an early goal.
15 - Cole denied Joe Cole latches onto a pass from Lampard but Cahill covers well to clear the danger.
12 - Stretchered off Terry is taken off on a stretcher looking very groggy. It seems as though he has a shoulder injury and also possible concussion after taking a knee in the head from Cech. He will play no further part and is replaced by Belletti.
10 - Injury scare Terry stays down after a nasty collision with Cech and calls for attention.
8 - First chance Ballack delivers an excellent low cross but Drogba misses from close range.
6 - No way through for Chelsea Judging by the defensive way Bolton have started, it is surprising Megson did not name an extra goalkeeper in his starting XI rather than on the bench.
4 - Bright day The sun is shining as it always seems to on the final day of the season, while Cech's garish orange shirt is even more difficult to look at.
3 - Strong start Most people would have expected Chelsea to be on top early on and Grant's side have camped themselves in the Bolton half already.
Kick-off Chelsea get the game underway. Unless you have been on Mars for the last week you will be aware that Chelsea need to beat Bolton and hope that Man Utd drop points against Wigan if they are to win the title. The real trophy is up at the JJB Stadium and a replica is here at Stamford Bridge. The games were supposed to start at the same time but Chelsea are a couple of minutes behind Man Utd. Mixed predictions Chelsea fan Matt is backing his team to win 3-1 but Bob believes there could be a surprise in store with Bolton edging it 1-0. Any more predictions?
Team news Grant has made five changes to the Chelsea side that won 2-0 at Newcastle on Monday. Carvalho is injured and Anelka is ineligible, but the likes of Lampard, Joe Cole and Ashley Cole all return. Joey O'Brien comes in for Danny Guthrie as Bolton make just one change, but Gary Megson has named two goalkeepers on the substitutes' bench. Any theories on that decision? What are your thoughts on the Chelsea line-up?

Welcome to skysports.com's minute-by-minute commentary of Chelsea's Premier League clash with Bolton. To describe this match as 'important' would be one of the understatements of the year because after a long season it all boils down to this afternoon for Blues fans. Barring a victory of something like 20-0, Chelsea are relying on Wigan to do them a massive favour against title rivals Manchester United. I will be keeping you informed of the events at the JJB Stadium but for Avram Grant's side there is little they can do except to keep their part of the bargain and pick up three points against Bolton. The Trotters boosted their survival hopes with a victory over Sunderland last week and they are likely to stay up regardless of the result here. However, they are not mathematically safe and will want to hold their opponents to at least a draw to ensure they avoid the drop.
