During Euro 2008 our reporters will be following each and every game at the tournament.

Part of our comprehensive coverage includes player ratings - our journalists evaluate each individual involved, giving a mark from 1-10.

Throughout the tournament we will also be giving you the chance to rate player performance.

And at the end of the competition we will pick the best XI based on YOUR ratings.

As a guide this is how our ratings system works.

10 - Out of this world. If your club manager has £50million to spend then splash the cash on this lad.

9 - Superb performance. Would add quality to any team in the world.

8 - Good display. Eleven like this boy in your team and you'd have a fair old side.

7- Solid effort.

6 - Average. Didn't let anyone down but certainly didn't pull up any trees.

5 - Disappointing. Did not perform to expected levels

4 and below - If this player is being linked with your club, then sack the scouts!
