King: Brimming with confidence

I have been talking about Warrington getting their confidence back and their win against Bradford last weekend would have done them a world of good.

I am happy to see them living up to their fantastic potential and they are nicely placed fourth on the table.

I have also talked about Warrington being consistent and that is why this game against Huddersfield is so important.

They have shown that they can mix it up with the so called big sides, but now they have to put away those sides that are struggling.

Huddersfield will be happy that they are back at home after last weekend's beating at the hands of Leeds. Why they struggle on the road is beyond me, as they are a different team when they are at the stadium.

Like Warrington, Huddersfield have been struggling with consistency.

Hopefully the news that Nathan Brown has been appointed as head coach from next season will settle the players down, but caretaker coach Keiron Purtill knows that they have to cut down on unforced errors and also giving away too many penalties.

They will be boosted by the return of Jamahl Lolesi who will give them some fire power. However the Huddersfield Giants need to step up to the mark. And what a mark that is going to be because the likes of Adrian Morley and Martin Gleeson have been in barnstorming form of late.

Once again I have to mention Lee Briers as the key man for Warrington. His developing partnership with Michael Monaghan has been a pleasure to watch and they are both playing some outstanding football.

Matt King is another in-form player for Warrington and I just think that this is the game where they build on their confidence and start to believe exactly what they are capable of.

Away win: Warrington have the bit between their teeth and will want to build on the great win against Bradford last season. Huddersfield will be much better than what they were last weekend against Leeds, but will it be enough?
