Tour Match

South Africa 359-5 dec (H M Amla 161, A G Prince 114) v Middlesex 311-5 (E J G Morgan 109 no, D J Malan 67)
Match drawn
The weather prevented any play on the final day of South Africa's tour match against Middlesex.
After heavy overnight rain in Uxbridge continued throughout Sunday morning prompting umpires Steve Garratt and Michael Gough to abandon proceedings shortly after 1pm.
That meant the three-day fixture ended in a draw and sends South Africa to Lord's (Jul 10-14) for the series opener against England on the back of just five days of match practice.
The tourists drew the three-day tour opener against Somerset and were keen for an extended workout against an under-strength Middlesex line-up in their final warm-up.
Captain Graeme Smith had returned from a hamstring injury to score 35 in South Africa's first innings score of 359-5 declared on the first day.
Hashim Amla and Ashwell Prince both notched centuries in that effort, a mixed blessing as it prevented middle-order duo of AB de Villiers and Mark Boucher spending much time in the middle.
Middlesex were indebted to Eoin Morgan, who struck an unbeaten 109 to lead them to 311-5 in reply by the close of day two before the weather intervened on Sunday to ensure a stalemate.
