Surrey batsman Mark Ramprakash has his next opportunity to join the 100 first-class centuries club when Yorkshire visit south London.

The 38-year-old is on the brink of becoming only the 25th player to reach the landmark but missed out during the draw against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl last week.

Ramprakash is likely to be part of an unchanged Surrey line-up.

Gough out, Naved in for Tykes

Yorkshire skipper Darren Gough will sit out the visit to the Oval due to back and leg injuries.

Anthony McGrath takes over as captain, leading a side that includes Pakistan seamer Naved-ul-Hasan for the first time.

Naved has passed a fitness test on his shoulder and will spearhead an attack that could feature Oliver Hannon-Dalby, who is preferred to Ben Sanderson.

David Wainwright and Richard Pyrah are also part of a 13-man squad.

"It is important that we manage Darren's workload carefully, and although he could have played at The Oval we want to have him firing for us in the three Friends Provident matches which are coming up," said Yorkshire's director of cricket Martyn Moxon.
