Harmison: Looking to impress
Durham travel to Old Trafford looking to kick-start their LV County Championship season with a win.
This season's second favourites for the Division One title have been out of four-day action for two weeks after a rain-affected draw against Surrey.
Both Paul Collingwood and Steve Harmison are available for the visitors as they aim to impress the selectors ahead of the squad for the first Test, which is announced on Sunday.
South African duo Neil McKenzie and Dale Benkenstein both miss out from the Durham side which played Surrey, as does Graham Onions who is playing for England Lions.
Garry Park, Ben Harmison and Mitchell Claydon have come in to the 12-man squad.
Michael Di Venuto captains the squad in the absence of Benkenstein, who has flown back to South Africa to be with his pregnant wife.
McKenzie is attending a wedding in the southern hemisphere but should be back in time for Durham's next match against Scotland on Sunday.
Lancashire go into their third County Championship match of the season still without Dominic Cork who has returned to training but is not yet fully fit.
Left-arm off-spinner Gary Keedy has recovered from a thigh injury and takes his place in a 13-man squad alongside Mark Chilton who has come in for Iain Sutcliffe who has a calf injury.
Mohammed Yousuf is set to make his Championship bow for the county, in place of Brad Hodge, while Steven Croft and Kyle Hogg come into the squad but Simon Marshall misses out.
The match against Durham will be Andrew Flintoff's last chance to prove his fitness ahead of the first npower Test against New Zealand.
