Swann: Playing for England Lions
Nottinghamshire have made just one change to their line up to face Kent at Trent Bridge.
Graeme Swann's involvement with England Lions means Bilal Shafayat comes into the side from the team that drew with Yorkshire.
That means that Darren Pattinson again misses out despite taking eight wickets against Kent in the opening match of the season, and 3-39 against Northamptonshire Steelbacks in the Friends Provident Trophy.
Pattinson misses out as Charlie Shreck, Ryan Sidebottom and Stuart Broad forms a strong fast bowling unit.
Kent will look to avoid back-to-back defeats against the Outlaws without two of their top players.
Azhar Mahmood and captain Rob Key are both missing from the 12-man squad to travel to Trent Bridge.
Key is away captaining England Lions, while Mahmood is struggling with a dislocated finger.
The Pakistani all-round managed to defy the pain to play in the FP Trophy victories over Sussex and Surrey at the weekend, however he is rested from Championship action.
Martin van Jaarsveld will deputise as skipper for Key, while fellow South African Justin Kemp will make his first Championship appearance of the season.
Swing bowler Martin Saggers and young off-spinner Charlie Hemphrey are battling it out for the final spot in the line-up.
